Annie Merriel


Annie has been dancing ever since she can remember,
22 years to be exact and has trained in many different styles. Annie trained in Jazz and Tap at Linette Louise School of Dance, then moved to the Dance Factory in her teens adding Ballet and Hip Hop to her training. She went on to study Contemporary dance at Deakin University, graduating in 2013 with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Dance & Drama) with Distinction. It was at Deakin university where Annie was introduced to the world of competitive cheer and dance. With the Deakin Dragons Cheerleading Club Annie received the opportunity to travel around Australia and overseas, winning national championships and competed at the World University Cheer and Dance Championship at Disneyworld, Orlando Florida, where her team, which she captained placed second. 

Annie teaches acrobatics, strength and conditioning and all competition dance teams.
